Garden tour grows to include Lake Loveland homes

The peregrination will showcase six gardens tended by homeowners who live on Lake Loveland from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 26.

The Garden Trip for Loveland Youth Gardeners usually attracts about 400 people, Cantley said.

Most of the gardens featured in the trip are landscaped by residents who aren’t professionals.

“We try to stick with homeowners who have landscaped themselves,” Cantley said. “We fancy people to see that you too can have a garden like this.”

The gardens feature first-wise and low maintenance flower, vegetable and fruit gardens and wildlife habitats, according to the Loveland Immaturity Gardeners Web site.

One master gardener will also be stationed at each garden to surrejoinder questions people about gardening, identifying foliage and more, Cantley said.

This is the first values bright and early gardens on Lake Loveland will be featured in the tour.
